Indicating Collaborations And Favourved Actors

The image below shows the data circle complete with all the names of the actors and directors arranged in alphabetical order with links from one to another. 

This post will also explain certain decisions that I have made in regards to the lines used to link all the people together.

Everytime a director used the same actor for a different film I thickened the point size of that link by 0.5 percent to indicate this.

Above is a shot of the info graphic which displayed three thick black lines for the actors he has used in the lord of the rings trillogy

This shot shows two of the most popular directors, Stanley Kubrick and Steven Spielberg.  AS they have used many actors the lines are more concentrated around them

Also note the usage of the dashed lines which indicate films directed by more than one director.
