This was a fairly simple ideas at the start. I wanted something that would compliment the image cover and also relate to the style of the book.
The book was written in the 1980's so I thought creating a typeface using a lines to form blocky images would be appropriate for the book.
I was fairly surprised with the outcome and very happy with it. Once the letterforms had been set to equal distances I decided to flip it vertically.
This created an interesting futuristic shape as well as a cover that was legible though not very readable.
