Dune Cover Layout Variations With Illustrated Type

This document contains covers that concentrate on how the type and layout compliment the image of the planet. I have found that the white lines used to separate image from type do not work with the new illustrated typeface because of its loose flow.

I have therefore decided to remove all grids from the cover of the book, including the penguin logo an the author. This information is something that will of course be displayed on the spine of the book.

The books will have similar formatting to the Great Ideas series.
