Using the polar grid tool again I was able to input the data I had collected for how many films had been released each year a film had been released.
This was then visible as data around the outside of the data net which in my opinion encompasses the whole info - graphic.
The final graphic with its key. I wanted to add more data around the out side of the outer circle. However this was not possible as it was already a tad big for the the page dimension it was being printed on.
However I will producing another bigger version of this graphic for a pull out poster that will be made available in the supplement.
